Language Fundamentals
KP's affiliation with Language Fundamentals (languagefundamentals.com) continues for 2011/2012!
This program was founded in August 2006 by Marian Zapata, a native Spanish speaker from Granada, Spain, and a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Language Fundamentals (LF), is based in Bethesda, and has become a strong presence in several Montgomery County Public Schools as an after-school program.
- Spanish and French classes will be offered after school, 3:35-4:35, for two 10 week sessions (one session per semester).
- Students in grades K-5 are eligible.
- Registrations for Session II are due by January 23, on a first come, first served basis.
- The fee for Session II is $180 by check (payable to Language Fundamentals) or credit card.
- Session II will begin January 30 and will continue for 10 weeks.
- Spanish K-2 and French K-2 will meet on Mondays.
- Spanish 3-5 and French 3-5 will meet on Mondays.
