Grocery Receipts

Here are two easy ways to raise funds for our school. Just shop at Safeway and Giant and a portion of your purchases will be donated to KP!

Giant

The Giant A+ Bonus Bucks program provides cash awards directly to the school and is based on total receipts of participating families. Kensington-Parkwood is registered with Giant and it is so easy for individuals to register on-line! Just go to www.giantfood.com and enter our KP school code: 00834. Or, choose one of the other methods to enroll in the A+ program from the attached form. The program starts October 6, 2006. And as an extra bonus when shopping, keep an eye out for specially marked items throughout the stores to earn Extra Credit for our school!

Safeway

KP is also participating in the eScrip program, where Safeway is a participating merchant. If you have never registered for this program, you may register on-line: Just go to www.eScrip.com, go to “Sign up”, enter our group ID# 6523486 and sign up your Safeway customer card. TYou will be assigned your own account and can see how much your shopping is contributing to our school!. If you registered last year, this year just click on Yes! Renew and you are set! Also, see the attached form for other methods to register. This program starts October 1, 2006. You may also register credit and debit cards, as there are other merchants who participate in this program-just check the web site.

Forms for registering will be available at PTA meetings, at back to school night, in the office and in school publications, if you would like someone to register for you. Also, give the forms to your family, friends, strangers standing behind you in the grocery lines so they may register for these programs. Just drop off completed forms in the PTA file drawer in front of the media center in the designated (Grocery Receipts) folder, or contact me. These are very easy ways to raise funds for Kensington Parkwood, since we all go grocery shopping! You just register once and then do not have to do any more work. Participate in the Grocery Gift Card program in addition to these programs and your grocery shopping will really benefit our school! So sign-up for these programs on-line or drop off the registration forms in the office and someone can get you registered. So get out there and shop for those groceries and even more with eScrip!
