PTA Bulletin BoardThe KP PTA school bulletin board is located outside the office and features information on upcoming events and other special notices. The PTA Board and PTA committee chairs maintain information posted on this board.
PTA School Directory
The PTA produces an annual directory with advertising support from the local business community. All KP families who wish to be are included. Information includes student name, grade, address, phone, and email address. The directory also contains general school information, class lists, staff members, and PTA officers and committee chairs. Parent volunteers organize this information, solicit advertisements from the local business community, and arrange for printing.
Eaglenet
Eaglenet is a listserve open to to all KP parents and staff. Membership gives you the ability to send and to receive school related messages including the schools past and current monthly bulletins.
To join, please send an email to KP parent Darin Bartram (bartram3515@verizon.net) which includes your child’s name and teacher (if you are a parent or guardian), and the email at which you would like to receive postings. An email invitation will be sent to you. Please respond to it so that you can begin to receive and post messages. This is an e-mail network open to KP parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. Once you join, you will receive KP news and information directly to your e-mail address. You can also post messages to the KP school community.

PTA Newsletter-“ Eagle News” (on gold paper)
The PTA “Eagle News” is issued monthly and provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to stay abreast of issues affecting KP and the Walter Johnson cluster. In addition, it provides information on topics of interest to the KP community. A parent volunteer solicits articles from the membership and PTA chairs to produce the monthly newsletter.

KP PTA has its own website. The web page includes up to date PTA news and announcements, a list of PTA officers and committee chairs, school club info, PTA activity info, volunteer and membership forms, and useful links to MCPS sites.
Kensington Parkwood Elementary School Yearbook
New! A Kensington Parkwood Elementary School yearbook will be available for purchase to ALL grades this year. It will capture school photos and events from throughout the school year.For more information click here.
